Firefox and Marathi Unicode Fonts

For many days I was troubled by the Marathi Unicode fonts display on Firefox. In process of finding the solution I came across the IEView extension for Firefox but very soon I shifted to the IETab Extension for Firefox.

IETab Extension solved my major problem not to start the IE browser just to see sites like http://www.manogat.com and http://www.maayboli.com as they are in Marathi Unicode font.

Today after searching more on the problem got a tip to check the Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Install fles for complex scripts option in Windows XP and Windows 2003 machines. The second East Asian Language is not needed to view Marathi Unicode.
This solved all my problem. Now I do not switch to IETab for Manogat and Maayboli sites. My Firefox just shows all the Marathi Unicode correctly.

Can anyone help me atleast getting started designing a marathi webisite, which automatically checks if fonts are installed when visited and prompt to install the plugins for firefox and mozilla browser.

I want to make sure even my parents are in tune with technology and communication and not just european and american parents.....
